When I asked my son how he thought a warrior face painting would be he described some kind of medieval knight so that's what I tried to paint in a simple way, easily doable on the job. The one stroke technique helps a lot to increase speed and a 3D effect.

Elements that I chose to use for this design include "footsteps" that Simba has to follow to take what is his and also bright warm colors to simulate the African savanna where the film takes place.
