All the girls love mermaids, and often they are asked to draw on the face, but not just a mask with patterns and scales, and completely the whole body. Today we are going to learn how to draw a mermaid figure and add to it a cute fish. In order to make the picture look bright, we will use my favorite Global Palette Tropical Collection.
Step 1
The first step is to use white face paint and round brush Diamond FX #1 to sketch the drawing. I used white for the sketch, it's easier to erase if you're wrong with the size. I specifically placed the mermaid so that she was directed his face to the center of the forehead and beautifully curved body and tail around the eyes.
Step 2
Then I load the angled brush into the Global Tropical Collection palette with a long blue tip. In the second picture below at number 1 and 2 I showed where we needed the color. Now use 1 number. Yellow and blue color when mixed form a bright green hue, so the middle of the tail turned out to be such a bright unusual color. For hair use a color number of 2, long tip angled brush loaded with the purple, thus the dark color creates volume at the edges. To get the flesh tones I used TAG Split Cakes-Teddy Bear, brown color created shaded areas.
Step 3
With TAG Face Paints-Pearl Green you can make a very beautiful shimmering effect on the eyelids. This shade is what you need for the image of a mermaid!
Then, using the Global Tropical Collection and Split Cake at number 2 (blue), I drew a wave with the help of a corner brush to equalize our mask and give harmony to the image. A dark color was used outside the wave. Brush Loew-Cornell Round #5 draw the petals at the waist mermaids, using the technique of double dipping. First, load the brush in white, then in blue. On the mermaid's hair I also painted a flower with this technique. Between the eyes and left wave I used a longer petals, for this you need not just to press the brush to the skin, and to hold a little further. The brand Silly Farm has a great option Arty Brush Cakes-Mermaid, blue colors can also be used from this Cakes, and I used it for fish. I wanted to draw a goldfish. It is a pity that the photo does not convey all the beauty and shimmer that creates this Golden color.
Step 4
At this stage, we trace the body of the mermaid brown, draw bubbles from the fish. At the bottom they are small, and the top increase in size. On the hair, hands and swimsuit draw highlights in white to give volume to our drawing.
Step 5
Do not forget about the scales on the tail of a mermaid. It can be drawn using a stencil, or as in my example manually. I like to use stencils in my designs, it makes our drawing more interesting. But it is worth remembering that the stencil should be deployed as our drawing is located, only repeating its bend.
Step 6
So, we came to the most interesting, at the last stage we will make our image brighter, add a little dry Shine and Glitter Blue Monday, colors shimmer in the light!
