Bright Dream Catcher Face Paint by Natalia Kirillova

Hello dears! This time we will try to draw a neon Dream Catcher design with you.

A Dream Catcher is a Native American talisman that protects the sleeper from evil spirits. Bad dreams get tangled in the web, and good ones slip through the hole in the middle.

For this Dream Catcher face paint, we will use only a part of the circle, the bottom where the feathers are attached. And I'll be helped by the bright Global Palette Tropical Collection.

Step 1

Of course, the first step is to sketch an outline. To draw a perfect semi-circle, I used an Ooh! Wrap Stencil, using White Face Paint to draw a line of dots to mark the shape on the forehead. I then sketched two feathers of different sizes, with the feather tips angled towards the middle of the face to make the design look harmonious.

Step 2

Next, use your split Cake and a TAG  #12 Flat Brush to paint the semi-circle. Make the bottom edge a strong color, and a slightly wider band of color.

Step 3

After we need an Cameleon #2 Angle Brush (3/4")#12 is too wide to draw feathers and Cameleon are perfect in size. Use the same split cake to draw the feathers, using different colors to add accents and depth and make a more interesting design.

Step 4

Draw strings for our dream catcher Global Standard White. In the Tropical Palette there is a dark purple color, use it to draw intertwined threads. Also add round beads.

Step 5

All girls love the shimmer and Shine, so at the end of glue Rhinestone Blings and add Glitter Gel - Winter Wonderland. Sprinkle with Glitter - Holographic White

Now our drawing looks bright and brilliant enough!

I hope you enjoyed this look! I will be glad to see your designs!

My name is Natalia, I live and work in Russia, the city of Yaroslavl. I do face painting for 7 years. One of my favorite destinations - belly painting, (so great to see how kids who have recently been in the tummy are already beginning to walk, talk and learn to draw) in my collection of 40 drawings for pregnant women. I've won a lot of face painting contests and now I want to teach you how to create beautiful drawings on faces. The most beautiful thing when you show your child the finished picture to see his shining smile
