Summer has arrived in Chicago with a vengeance, and it's HOT outside. Really hot. We don't usually get a run of weather in the 90s (which feel like the 100s) in May. But like it or not, if you're a face painter, you know exactly what king of heat means—your beautiful artwork, after being remoisten with perspiration, will be in danger of serious smearing.

For me glitter is magical. It turns every design into a fairy tale. This was actually pretty easy to paint, so sparkle on with me!

Grimas face paints are an excellent choice for the face painter who is looking for a product free of chemical preservatives (parabens, which are used as preservatives) or halogenated organic compounds.

Learn how to create a cool and awesome zombie unicorn design with Shelley Wapniak.
Unicorns are incredibly popular and so much fun to paint. This version of a Unicorn design uses a warm and a cool tone on each eye with a sun and stars in the background.

This is my most popular unicorn design and definitely my "go to" when children request unicorns. Kids love to pick their favorite colors or add something of their own, such as a flower, a stencil pattern, or glitter. Smiles and that "wow effect" are guaranteed!

Well, there's no getting around it, friends! Unicorns have joined the ranks of the in-crowd and are here to stay. So, rather than be neigh-sayers, (see what I did there?) we might as well join in on the fun!
