Tutorial: Lady Bug Headband

This week, I’ll be sharing a cute headband design with all of you. I think you will find it to be a popular request at your next gigs.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  1. Global Neon Orange
  2. Global Neon Yellow
  3. BAS Mini Stencil
  4. Gloabal Pearl White
  5.  Global Red
  6. Paradise Light Green
  7. Paradise Amazon Green
  8. Wolfe Black
  9. Wolfe White
  10. Always Wicked Sponge
  11. 1″ Flat Brush
  12. Small Filbert Brush
  13. #4 Round Brush
  14. Glitter

The Application:
Lady Bug Face Paint by Stacey Perry

Double load your 1″ Flat Brush with Global Neon Orange and Global Neon Yellow and apply it across the forehead as pictured.

Load your sponge with pearl white and use your Mini stencil to add texture to the headband. Add glitter.

Load your filbert brush with Global Red and paint an oval shape on one side of the headband.

Load your #4 Round Brush with Wolfe Black and paint in the Ladybug head, spots and antenna.Lady Bug Face Paint by Stacey Perry

Load your Filbert Brush with Paradise Light Green and paint in leaves on each side of the Ladybug,

Continue by painting leaves on the other side of the headband.

Load your #4 Round Brush with Paradise Amazon and outline the leaves.


Lady Bug Face Paint by Stacey Perry

Load your #4 Round Brush with Wolfe White and add dots to the leaf areas and the inside of the eyes.

Load your #4 Round Brush with Wolfe Black and add swirls around the leaf areas as pictured.Lady Bug Face Paint by Stacey Perry
