Safety Info

Cameleon face & body paints are made with high quality ingredients that are free of parabens, sulfates and beewax, making it safe to be used on sensitive skin. Cameleon Colors are made of EU & US FDA approved ingredients. Only baseline colors have been approved by FDA for cosmetic use. Neon colors have been approved by FDA for special effects use, not as a cosmetic.

Please Note: The US FDA recommends against using red, yellow, orange or purple face paint near the eyes and or using blue, green or purple face paint near the lips to avoid possible staining issues. In line with FpDA regulations, all Neon products are considered Special FX since the fluorescent pigments in these products have not been tested by the FDA. Many manufacturers have undertaken independent tests, finding their products to be safe on skin. That said, we recommend avoiding use of UV-reactive products around eyes and mouth.

Application & Removal Tips

How Do I Apply
Recommended: Always start with a clean dry face before face painting. Never apply on irritated or cracked skin.

Step 1: Gently rub the surface of the cake with a slightly damp sponge or brush till you get the required consistency. Cameleon requires less amount of water than other brands, so be sure to squeeze out any excess water from the sponge or brush.

Step 2: Apply to the skin. Cameleon Face Paint dries quicker than several brands.

How Do I Remove
To remove from skin: Wash with mild soap and water. Because of high pigmentation in Cameleon, some staining might stay for little longer than other brands, especially with strong colors like blues and greens.

To remove from fabric: Avoid contact with fabric, carpet, and upholstery. In case of accidental contact, spot treat with baby shampoo, liquid dish soap or OxyClean-like product and help loosen the face paint makeup with a toothbrush. Do NOT add water until the soap had loosened the face paint makeup. Once the Wolfe makeup is thoroughly loosened, add a small amount of warm water. Blot or wet vacuum the area. Repeat this process as necessary.

To store your face paint: FacePaint.com recommends you use the product within eighteen months once you have opened the container. Older facepaint can start to dry out and be less effective. Store the face paint covered in a clean, dry, dust free area out of direct sun light.

Patch Test
Prior to application, do a patch test by placing a small amount on the wrist. If there is no reaction within 30 minutes, then the product can be safely used.

Airline Airbrush
Product Info

How Do I Apply?
Note: Small pigments tend to settle down at the bottom of the bottle; so always shake well before use.

Pour Airline makeup into your airbrush paint gun and apply. Alternatively, apply directly out of the bottle with a brush for line work. Use a sponge tip applicator for tear drops and designs such as small flowers. Apply using a sponge for wider, opaque coverage.

How Do I Remove
Airline paints are not water proof and can be removed with soap and water.

Caring for brushes

When you are finished face painting, rinse your face painting brushes well in warm to hot water until you don't see any face paint. Dry the face painting brushes with a clean paper towel, wiping from the brush handle to the brush head then reshape the brush head with your fingers.

Let the Makeup Brushes dry completely before you pack them away. When using soap to clean your face painting brushes, use a baby shampoo or gentle soap that is safe on young eyes. When storing your face painting brushes in a kit, store the brushes with bristles up.
