Rainbow Skull by Marina

Let's paint a cool rainbow skull! My inspiration was this gorgeous floral head piece. Some kids don't love scary designs, so why not make them pretty instead?

Step 1

With a petal sponge I'm adding one by one color, making sure that the colors are well blended (blend with other/clean side of sponge). Green, yellow and orange are well blended as you can see, but red and pink on this picture are not.

Step 2

I'm blending red and pink, and adding blue and that finishes our rainbow. Around kids eyes I love to use Mehron Starblends or powder paint because they are more comfortable with dry paint.

Step 3

Now it's time to do some lining for our rainbow skull. DFX Black and Art Factory Brush No.6 (my new favorite!) were used to paint the nose and all the line work. I Added some cracks to fill empty spaces. Then with petal brush paint some teeth, they should point toward nose.

Step 4

With round brush No1 line the teeth so they pop out more. Again, use black Starblend to create shadows, and white DFX paint with round brush no 2 to add some highlights. And we are done!

I finished our look by adding rainbow crown. Hope you like my rainbow skull.
