Painting With Glasses - Cute Giraffe Design by Marina

Today we are going to talk about designs for kids that wear glasses.I love fast designs so I'm always trying to create something new that I can paint "on the job".So this time instead of my usual designs that I paint when kids have glasses;kitty ears, dragon horns, swirls, that go above glasses we are gonna paint this cute giraffe design.Fast and simple!

Step 1: Creating the Giraffe Shape

This simple giraffe shape is painted with Paradise Prisma cake-HOT (just first two colors) and big Filbert brush.Use your brush width for belly and just pull up creating a teardrop shape, and a bit of highlight to the belly.I painted small parts with same brush but if you want to you can paint them with round brush No 6 or No 8.

Step 2: Painting the Face and Legs

With my new favorite orange - KrazeFX orange I'm painting the nose, dots and legs - we are keeping this simple! Then with BAM1010 tropical leaf stencil(or any other leaf-tree stencil that you have) and Silly farm rainbow cake-Mystique we are giving our little giraffe background and adding some fun to our design. Kraze FX -white is used to paint eyes.

 Step 3: Line Work

Now it is time to do some line work and make our giraffe alive and pop out.For lining this small design I'm using round brush No1 and KrazeFX-black. If you don't have time you can stop at this point, maybe ad some glitter and that's it.

Step 4: Extra Details

So this step is optional and you can add whatever you or the child likes.I'm adding leaves and flowers ( TAP 002 ) with the same colors that I painted the giraffe just to balance and connect the whole design.I used the Kraze FX -white and Graffiti Madness stencil kit. Shading is something that gives dimension and depth to every design, so use Mehron starblend brown and blending brushto add shades to the giraffe.

Thank you for your time, and I hope you will try this design and love it as much as I do. If you paint any of our blog designs please tag us so we can see it.
