The TAG Rainbow Split Cake features a combination of Neon Orange, Neon Yellow, Neon Green, Neon Blue, Neon Purple and Neon Pink colors, which are perfect for creating a wide variety of designs. TAG Neon colors appear bright and colorful under normal lighting and glow vibrantly under blacklight for great Special FX!

TAG Neon colors feel soft on skin and are very easy to blend. TAG split cakes are wax-based, which gives your design flexibility and comfort with the ability to move instead of cracking. Most TAG colors are great for line work and have strong opacity, even when layering over darker colors. TAG colors are super creamy, requiring less water to activate than regular paints.

How does Tag Look
The TAG Neon Rainbow Split Cake is extremely versatile and its brilliant colors are a favorite among children and adults for use under blacklight or regular lighting. To use, spritz a sponge and/or the split cake with water and load the edge of your sponge with paint (usually a teardrop or half-circle sponge). Squeeze the sponge in your desired shape and dab paint onto face. If the color appears sheer on skin, reload brush and apply a second coat after the first coat is dry. To clean up edges before doing brush work, use a wet wipe or wet paper towel wrapped around your index finger and wipe along the edge of the design.
Shelf Life: Recommended to use within 12 months after opening.

How Many Applications Will This Give?
Each 1.76 ounces (50 grams) TAG container is good for 100-250 applications. Comes in a rectangular container, about 2" wide and 2 1/2" long.

How Do I Apply

Recommended: Always start with a clean dry face before face painting.

  • Step 1: Moisten the face paint with a small amount of water. For line work, you can poke a hole in the center and fill it with a few drops to use a "well" or lightly mist on water with a spray bottle. Be careful not to use too much water or the face paint can become gloppy. It is better to have too little water than too much, as more water can be added.
  • Step 2: Load a 3/4-1 inch flat brush or sponge in the split cake making sure that the
  • brush is not too wet so the colors do not drip.
  • Step 3: Apply face paint to the face with the applicator with consistent even strokes.

Should any skin reaction occur, wash off with soap and water and discontinue use immediately.

To Remove from Skin: Wash with soap and water. Some traces of color may remain for a short period after washing. If you have a hard time washing the face paint off (especially red and green), give it a second wash or try a gentle cleansing cream. Do not use baby wipes with oils in them to remove the paint, the wipes can push the color into the skin and make it more difficult to wipe the paint off, hence can result in staining the skin.

To Remove from Fabric: TAG recommends that you avoid contact with fabric, carpet, and upholstery. In case of accidental contact, spot treat with baby shampoo, liquid dish soap or Oxy Clean-like product and help loosen the face paint with a toothbrush. Do NOT add water until the soap had loosened the face paint makeup. Once the TAG face paint is thoroughly loosened, add a small amount of warm water. Blot or wet vacuum the area. Repeat this process as necessary.

To Store: Leave your face paint container uncovered until it dries. Otherwise they can swell up and go soft. Also FacePaint.com recommends you use the TAG face paint within eighteen months once you have opened the container. Older face paint can start to dry out and be less effective. Store the face paint covered in a clean, dry, dust free area out of direct sunlight.
