Meet the Instructor
Helene Rantzau is a professional face and body artist based in Denmark, known for her painterly style, soft blends, and highly controlled linework that mimics airbrush effects using traditional brushes.
She began face painting in 2010 and quickly fell in love with the competition world, where she continuously pushes her creativity and technical skills to the limit. This foundation has shaped her approach to painting, combining artistic expression with precision, control, and strong visual impact.
Today, Helene works commercially with events, brands, and entertainment, while also creating tutorials and educational content for both professional artists and hobby painters.
She recently placed at the World Bodypainting Association (WBA) International Facepaint Competition in the Netherlands, where she stood out for her ability to create depth, flow, and highly detailed techniques in her design.
Her teaching focuses on refining core techniques, helping artists move beyond basic designs into more dynamic, high-impact work that stands out both on the job and in competition settings.

1. Is this a live session or pre-recorded?

This is a live session. Please check the Zoom details after purchase or refer to the product image for the time and date of the masterclass.
2. Do I need to create an account on Facepaint.com?
Answer:
Yes, make sure that the email address on your Facepaint.com account matches the one you used on the day you purchased the masterclass.
3. Can I speak during the class?
Answer:
Upon entering the Zoom session, all students will be muted. However, you are allowed to speak—simply raise your hand using the emoji in Zoom. When the moderator notices, they will unmute you. Please make sure that your question or comment is relevant to the instructor’s demonstration.
Once the class is over, if there is still time, the moderator will allow everyone to speak, ask questions, share opinions, and express gratitude to the instructor and fellow face painters.
4. Will I be able to ask questions?
Answer:
Yes, you can ask questions during the class, but you must type them in the chat. The moderator will read them aloud for the instructor and students. The instructor will answer them right away. Please ensure your questions are related to the instructor’s demonstration to avoid distractions and make the best use of time.
5. If I leave during the class, will I be able to rejoin?
Answer:
Yes, as long as the class is still ongoing.
If you try to rejoin after the scheduled time, you will not be able to access the Zoom link as it will have expired.
