Snazaroo Face Paint is glycerin-based, fragrance-free and gives brightly colored, totally opaque coverage. Fragrance-free and the world's safest face paints, meeting US FDA, Canadian, and European standards for cosmetic safety and the only face paint with a Child Toy Safety Rating. Snazaroo Face Paint applies smoothly, can be easily blended and will dry in about 30 seconds to a streak-free, durable finish. Snazaroo UV paints are the only black light reactive face paints that are compliant with FDA cosmetic laws.
Shelf Life: Once opened - 18 months. Stored dry and unopened - No expiry date.
Snazaroo manufactures its products using all FDA compliant materials, packaging and processes. Snazaroo's factory and manufacturing procedures are also FDA compliant and have been inspected by appropriate federal staff.
Snazaroo face paints use no ingredients that do not meet cosmetic guidelines both in the United States and the European Community. For example: UV and Day glow pigments may be approved and used in German cosmetics but since they are banned by the USA FDA, Snazaroo does not use them. Glow in the dark pigments are approved in the USA but banned by cosmetic regulations in Europe, therefore Snazaroo does not use them.
Snazaroo paints also avoid ingredients that can substantially increase the risk of allergic reaction, such as fragrances. Snazaroo face paints were designed to be used on children, so Snazaroo takes every measure that their face paints are the safest face paints in the world.
All face paints can, on rare occasions, cause allergic reactions and the face paint should not be applied in the immediate eye area or to sensitive skin or to broken skin. If you are unsure about whether you will have a reaction to the face paint, a patch test is advised. Apply the face paint to the inside of the elbow. If a reaction occurs within 60 minutes, do not use.
Please Note: The US FDA recommends against using red, yellow, orange or purple face paints near the eyes and or using blue, green or purple face paints near the lips to avoid possible staining issues. On Neon Face Paints, avoid using around eyes and mouth.

How Do I Apply Snazaroo Face Paints are water activated, they are meant to be mixed with water. When using a sponge or brush, add a small amount of water to the sponge or brush and mix it onto the Snazaroo cake of makeup. Practice to learn how much water Snazaroo paints need - too little and you'll see skin through the paint, too much and it may look streaky or bubbly. When using a sponge, apply Snazaroo like shoe polish until you have color coverage and then pat the sponge on the face for a nice even coat. You will find variations in consistency between Snazaroo colors due to the different pigments used, so some colors (like green and orange) will need more water than white or black. That is normal. How Do I Apply Use gentle pressure to avoid breaking the Snazaroo Face Painting Crayons. Also always hold the face paint crayons perpendicular to surface being colored. To achieve a blended look, you can drag your finger along a line. How Do I Remove To Remove From Skin: Wash with soap and water or baby wipes. Work into face painted area for 15 to 20 seconds to loosen face paint makeup from the skin. Some traces of color may remain for a short period after washing. To Remove From Fabric: Avoid contact with fabric, carpet, and upholstery. In case of accidental contact, spot treat with baby shampoo, liquid dish soap or OxyClean-like product and help loosen the face paint makeup with a toothbrush. Do NOT add water until the soap had loosened the face paint makeup. Once the makeup is thoroughly loosened, add a small amount of warm water. Blot or wet vacuum the area. Repeat this process as necessary. Note: Do not leave in direct sunlight, hot cars, or other hot places. To sharpen, put the face paint crayon in the refrigerator and use a normal pencil sharpener to sharpen. |
