Maleficent Face Paint Mask by Natalia Kirillova

With the new Maleficent movie coming out, kids will soon be begging for a Maleficent face paint mask! Natalia shows us how to do do a fun and colorful Maleficent face paint mask in this easy to follow tutorial!

The second Maleficent movie will sonn be out, and my daughter and I were waiting for this day and decided to show you how to draw a light mask with the character of Maleficent. This pattern will be easy to repeat and it will become recognizable among girls.

Maleficent Face Paint Mask

Step 1

Initially, load the sponge in neon yellow and draw 3 areas-at the edges of the eye and on the bridge of the nose. Next, paint the green area over the yellow spots

Step 2

With the help of white pearl color we continue to create a background for our mask, as shown in the photo. Apply violet neon carefully, and shade the edge of white color to form a gentle transition of shades. At the top of the forehead, paint a rainbow like design.

 Step 3

For the next stage, we are starting to sketch the shape of a headgear with horns and wings. To simplify this design, leave the area blank, and simply trace in black. The upper part of the wings are directed towards each other, going downwards towards the mouth. Repeat on each side to create a uniform look.

Step 4

Using a round brush with black, fill in the empty space in the wings, draw a collar, and for thin feathers, use a thinner brush to achieve a detailed drawing.

Step 5

The last step is to draw the patches of white on the wings, feathers, and horns. And also do not forget about the twinkling stars and dots to give magic to our design. On top of the finished drawing I put dry glitter. IFinally, I use Mother of Pearl purple color to paint the lips.

My name is Natalia, I live and work in Russia, the city of Yaroslavl. I do face painting for 7 years. One of my favorite destinations - belly painting, (so great to see how kids who have recently been in the tummy are already beginning to walk, talk and learn to draw) in my collection of 40 drawings for pregnant women. I've won a lot of face painting contests and now I want to teach you how to create beautiful drawings on faces. The most beautiful thing when you show your child the finished picture to see their shining smile.
