Kawaii Bug Face Painting Design by Belén Canosa

Today I'm going to show you how to face paint a cute bug design, easily doable on the job and adaptable for boys or girls just changing a couple of details.

The one stroke and the double dip techniques are the key for a quick result.

Let's get started!

Step 1

Load a Prima Barton 3/4 flat brush with KrazeFX Lush and paint the head and body of the bug around the model's eye and eyebrow.

Step 2

Load a Prima Barton Creative series number 3 Roundin the lighter part of the split cake to fill in the blank space of the bug's head and paint two tiny teardrops under it for the bug's hands.

Step 3

Load a a Prima Barton number 1 brush with Diamond FX Black and outline the full design. Add two tiny dots for the eyes and using thin lines paint the mouth, eyebrows and antennas.

Step 4

Load a Prima Barton Creative series number 3 Round with watery Diamond FX White and paint some highlights on the bug's body and on its eyes.

Step 5

Load a Prima Barton Creative Series number 8 brush with Superstar Fire Red and with Superstar Bubblegum Pink only on the tip to paint some double dip flowers. Add some pink on the bug's cheeks with slight touches of the tip of your brush.

Step 6

Now take a Prima Barton number 3 Brush and load it with the lighter part of the green split cake to paint the flowers' leaves. With the same brush and KrazeFX White add some dots on the flowers and on blank spaces.

Step 7

Finally, load aPrima Barton Creative series number 3 Round withDiamond FX White and add some stars and teardrops.

And that's it! Your models will fall in love with this cute little bug!
