In this post, I’m going to do a review on the Global Body Art Split Cake Palette – one of my all time favorite products. We will go over what is included with the product, what the product is like (in terms of amount, color, etc.), and what kind of designs you can create with this product.
What Is Included:
In the Global Body Art Rainbow Splash Split Cake Palette, there are 6 different split cakes, and each one is 10gm. There are four colors in each cake, so there is a beautiful range color. They come in a convenient little palette, which is so easy to travel with. There is space in the front of the palette that could fit a brush, but a brush is not included.
Product Description and Review:
One day I was looking at individual split cakes, and I just could not decide on one! Luckily, I came across this product and it was just what I needed. It is quality Global paint, it has the variety of colors that I wanted, and it is so affordable. The colors are so pigmented and vibrant. Because of this, the blue and green colors tend to stain the skin a little bit more than other paints I have used. However, that can be easily fixed with just a little bit of extra makeup remover. Another thing that some painters may not like is that the cakes are not as long as other split cakes. This was not an issue for me, But if you are used to doing long strokes to load your brush, you may have to adjust to these shorter cakes. But overall, this palette is affordable, it has great variety, the colors are pigmented and vibrant, they provide lots of applications, and it is absolutely perfect for indecisive painters such as myself! This Global Palette is a must have in my book!
If you aren’t sure about what kind of designs you would create with this palette, here are a few ideas for each cake numbered one through six on the picture above.
- Sunset, Island, Hawaiian Flowers
- Butterflies, Rainbows, Candy
- Sunset, Island, Flowers, Tropical Butterfly
