Cute Dragonfly Mask by - Belén te Pinta

This dragonfly is perfect  for an on the job design but still with a colourful and wow effect. It’s elegant and funny at the same time.

Let’s get started!

Step 1

With a filbert brush paint the dragonfly wings, similar to the butterfly’s but much thinner.

Step 2

Add with a sponge some white highlights in the centre of the wings.

Step 3

With a round brush paint the head and body of the dragonfly in the centre of the eyes.

Step 4

Outline in black the whole design and paint the veins of the wings too. Paint in the head of the dragonfly a tiny smile.

Step 5

Paint the antennas with a squarish ending and add some white highlights in between the wing veins and on top of head and body. Add a little star on top of one antenna.

Step 6

Stick a pair of googly eyes on top of the dragonfly’s head and add lipstick for an extra touch.

If you don’t have googly eyes you can paint them of course!
