Aquaman by Marina

When kids want some character/superhero design they want see his face, and that is really hard to do "on the job" when we don't have much time. Aquaman is definitely super hero that boys love so let's try to simplify him.

Step 1

First, painting Aquaman's face with TAG Beige. It's a simple butterfly shape, keep in mind not to paint it too small because it will be impossible to add eyes and details and catch that facial expression.

Step 2

With a round brush No2, paint his eyes and eyebrows. This is the hardest part of the design but from here on it's fast and simple.

Step 3

For his strong arms use a flat 3/4 brush and TAG Magpie split cake. Put black on the outer side so we can skip lining. DFX light brown was used for his hair, mustaches and beard. Outline it with black and small No2 brush.

Step 4

Next step for our Aquaman design is to give him an armor and add some highlights and details.

Step 5

With a sponge and TAG dolphin split cake paint a quick background. With the straight end of a stencil and Mehron white Starblend, create the illusion of rays of lights. And you're done!
