Anime Kawaii Mask by Marina

Teenagers have lots of new and fun ideas. This anime kawaii mask is very popular these days.

This design is fast and great for "on the job" so let's start!

Step 1

Using DFX black color and Loew Cornell No 4 brush paint black line on upper lid and then DFX white on lower using same brush.

Step 2

A common anime character design is exaggerated eye size,so we are trying to accomplish that. With DFX Black and Loew Cornell brush No 1 outline white part creating illusion of big eyes. Paint few lashes on both sides. You can end your design here and just add some color to lips (keep in mind that mouth should be smaller then ours).

Step 3

Now let's do outlining for mask using DFX White and No 3 Loew Cornell brush.

Step 4

Fill the mask using a sponge and White color, blend it well so it looks smooth. We are almost done!

Step 5

Here you can play with shape of the mouth, there are lots of kawaii designs for them so be creative! I've used my No 0 Loew Cornell and DFX Black for fine lining of the mouth, the inner part I painted with Global Pink. To make this Anime mask pop out, shade outer lines using Paradise starblend black and blending brush. And we are done!
