Tutorial: 2-Minute Clown
Clowns don’t always have to be scary, sometimes they are cute too! I thought about painting my daughter like this everyday because she is just so darn cute. She wasn’t having it though. This design can be done in under 2 minutes and still make an impact. All you have to do is set up your supplies accordingly. So whether you are working a birthday party or festival, this design should be a perfect option to offer.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Global White
- Global Black
- Global Red
- Ben Nye Blush – Wineberry
- #4 Round Brush
- Blush Brush
- Always Wicked Sponge
Load your Always Wicked sponge with Global White and sponge in the eyelids. Load your #4 Round Brush with Global Black and paint in the clown eyebrows. Here’s where you can easily change the look of you clown from happy to sad, mad, etc…
Grab your blush brush and swirl it around in your Ben Nye Wineberry Blush. Brush in a circle shape on each cheek.
Load your #4 Round Brush with Global Red and paint a cute circle shape in the tip of the nose. Paint the bottom lip red as well as a sideways balloon shape on each side of the mouth.
Reload your #4 Round Brush with Global Black and paint 3 teardrops of the side of each eye. Continue by painting a single teardrop under each eye.
Add glitter to the nose and cheeks and…
Voila! You have an adorable clown in your midst.
I recently added this design to my board and it’s been extremely popular. I hope you all have success with this design as I did.
