Let's begin this one with a fun fact about dolphins! It has been proven by scientists that dolphins give themselves names. They develop their own individual whistles and they recognize their names and other dolphins' names. How cute is that!
Step 1
I didn't have a split cake with this color, so I load my petal sponge at one end with Kryvaline Regular White (shimmery white would be great too) and other end with FAB Rose Shimmer. When I create mask designs I'm trying to not go over eyebrows with base color.
Step 2
For the dolphins, use TAG One Stroke Dolphin cake and a short 1/2-inch flat brush. Painting them diagonally will give balance to our dolphin mask design.
Step 3
In this step you can get creative! Use stencils, teardrops, and dots to round your mask, always watching for symmetry of the design. This time I decided to use shell stencil for center of my mask, using the same TAG split cake. I add some bubbles using a stencil and white Mehron Starblend. For closing the design, add sets of teardrops and dots using a Loew-Cornell No. 3 round brush and Kryvaline white.
Step 5
Finish the mask by lining the dolphins, the shell, and the bubbles using DFX black and a fine liner brush. I added my star bling cluster in center of the shell to make the design more interesting and then added some glitter on dolphins and lips.
