#8 What’s on Your Board?

Batman Face Paint Stacey Perry

Welcome to another installment of, What’s on Your Board? As you can guess from the featured picture… It’s BATMAN inspired! Yet another extremely popular must have for your face painting board. I have included three different styles in this addition that should get you through any occasion. So let’s get started!

Here’s what you’ll need:

Simple Version

  1. Diamond FX Face Paints – Metallic Pink
  2. Wolfe Face Paints – Black
  3. Wolfe Face Paints – White
  4. Bad Ass Hot Wingz Stencils – Dots and Drips
  5. Always Wicked Art Butterfly Sponge
  6. Loew-Cornell® Gold Grip #4 Round Brush

Regular Version

  1. Global Body Art Face Paint – Standard Dark Blue
  2. Kryvaline Creamy Line Split Cake
  3. Wolfe Face Paints – Black
  4. Wolfe Face Paints – White
  5. Bad Ass Hot Wingz Stencils – Dots and Drips
  6. Always Wicked Art Butterfly Sponge
  7. Loew-Cornell® Gold Grip #4 Round Brush
  8. Silly Farm Paint Pal Big Drop Filbert Brush

Deluxe Version

The Application:

Step 1: Load your sponge with your metallic pink and sponge around the eye as shown above. Next, load the other side of your sponge with White and use the dot portion of your Hot Wingz stencil and stencil dots on top of the pink.

Step 2: Load your #4 Round Brush with Wolfe Black and begin painting the bat outline and fill it in.

Step 3: Continuing with the Black and #4 Round Brush, add the bat head.

Step 4: Load your #4 Round brush with white and add highlights to the bat wings. You will also want to add some extra dots and stars. finally, Load your #4 Round brush with black and add a few more dots as shown.

Regular Version

Regular Batman Steps Stacey Perry

Step 1: Load your sponge with the white and blue from your Kryvaline Split cake and  sponge onto the forehead in a half circle shape. reload your sponge using a mixture of the dark blue and light blue from the same Kryvaline Split cake and sponge onto the eyelids.

Step 2: Load your filbert brush with Global dark blue and begin painting the bat shape a shown above.

Step 3: Load your #4 Round brush with Global dark blue and outline the bat shape to give it a crisp finished look.

Step 4: Load your sponge with white and add some dots to the wings using your Hot Wingz stencil. I also added some blue dots to the side of the wings and nose area.

Step 5: Load your #4 Round brush with Wolfe White and outline the bat wings and head. Finally, add some stars and your look is complete.

You could add some mean eye lines on eyelid if you do this design on a boy.

Deluxe Batman Steps Stacey Perry

Step 1: Load your Filbert brush with Wolfe Black and paint in the bat mask shape as shown above.

Step 2: Load your stipple sponge with white and stipple on the forehead, under the eyes and on the side of the bat ears.

Step 3: Load your sponge with Global dark blue and add some dots using your Hot Wingz stencil. I added them on top of the area where I previously added white.

Step 4: Load your #4 round brush with Wolfe White and outline the entire design. Add highlight lines to the bat ears, above the eyes and under the eyes as shown.

Step 5: Load your wisp brush with White and begin painting additional highlights to the bat ears, top of forehead and under the eyes.

This look is now complete.
