Wolfe Brothers

Wolfe Face Art and FX prides itself on being known for its unique products and innovative face painting application procedures. Wolfe face paints were developed in 2004 with the help of identical twins, Nick and Brian Wolfe, both veterans of theme park face painting. The Wolfe brothers combined tried and true theatrical make up with the new and ever more sophisticated art of fun face painting. Wolfe Face Art and FX has created a whole new art of face design. Wolfe Face Art's products are designed by artists with the highest creative standards.

The Wolfe brothers left the company in 2007 but Wolfe Face Art and FX continues and expands the original mission. Wolfe Face Art has extremely simple to use face painting products and temporary tattoos. Even the novice face painter can conjure up creative and beautiful designs. Wolfe Face Art and FX wants you to be creative as you can be!

Please note: the US FDA recommends against using red, yellow, orange or purple facepaints near the eyes and or using blue, green or purple facepaints near the lips to avoid possible staining issues.

  • Wolfe Metallix Face Paints: Wolfe Hydrocolor pearlescent face paint that gives a metallic sheen.
  • Wolfe Blacklight Face Paints: Wolfe Hydrocolor UV face paint that is bright under normal light while fluorescing under black light.

How do I apply Wolfe Face Paint?
Step 1: Drag a damp brush or sponge on to the Wolfe face paint. Make sure the face paint reaches a nice creamy constituency. Do not apply water directly to the face paint cakes.
Step 2: Use a face painting brush or sponge to apply to the skin. Note that your applicator should just be damp, if you can squeeze water out of it, it's too wet! Try dabbing on a dry paper towel to remove excess water.

How do I remove Wolfe Face Paint?
Wash the Wolfe face paint with soap and water or baby wipes. Some traces of color may remain for a short period after washing.

To remove from fabric: Avoid contact of Wolfe face paint with fabric, carpet, and upholstery. In case of accidental contact, spot treat with baby shampoo, liquid dish soap or OxyClean-like product and help loosen the face paint makeup with a toothbrush. Do NOT add water until the soap had loosened the face paint makeup. Once the Wolfe makeup is thoroughly loosened, add a small amount of warm water. Blot or wet vacuum the area. Repeat this process as necessary.

How Do I Store Wolfe Face Paint?
FacePaint.com recommends you use Wolfe face paint within eighteen months once you have opened the container. Older facepaint can start to dry out and be less effective. Store the face paint covered in a clean, dry, dust free area out of direct sun light.
