I created this cheetah design to be easy, fast and practical. It leaves the mouth area free of paint so that the child can eat without messing up the design (the lipstick is optional). It can be painted using any color...just have fun with it! I love to match the design with the clothes they are wearing...In doing this, your design will look better and get lots of Oohs! and Awes!
Get Ready For Cuteness Overload!
Step One: The Base
Load a sponge with the “Minty Rose” Rainbow cake. I start in the center and work out to either side, pouncing my sponge so the colors blend nicely. For the ears, I squeeze my sponge and pounce it in a small semi circle on each side. Poof on some Mama Clown Iridescent Glitter over the wet paint to add sparkle! You can clean off any messy edges using a baby wipe or makeup wipe.
Step Two: Cheetah Spots
With a #4 round brush and black paint, paint on the cheetah spots making sure they all point towards the center point between the eyes. It is important to do this step at the beginning so that the black has a chance to dry before you paint the inner color in the spots.
Step Three: Eyelids
I like to use the color that I will be using for the spots over the eyelids. I used Paradise teal. This step is optional if you have limited time and want to speed it up even more.
Step Four: Outline
Outline the design with black using a round brush. Outline the eyelids and add a couple eyelashes to each side. I like the nose to be small and not overpowering.
Step Five: Spots
Fill in the cheetah spots with the same color you used for the eyelids. I use a #4 round brush that is heavily loaded with paint. Position the tip of the brush at the narrow point of the spot and press the back end down into the wide end of the spot. You can also apply matching glitter on top of the wet paint at this point to make it more “Fancy”! This is optional.

Step Six: Teal Outline
I like to add a teal outline (the same color that is used for the eyelids and spots) around the design. This step is optional, but it really helps to make this design pop and it actually is super fast to do.
Step Seven: Lips
Finish off the overall look with some cute glitter lips if you have time. This is definitely optional depending on how much time you have. And of course, it is the first thing to go if they eat, but it is a nice touch for that photo that every parent will take at the end.
