Video: Product Review of MiKim Face Paint

I recently had the opportunity to try out a few colors of MiKim face paint, and I wanted to share the results with you in this video. Overall, I enjoyed using MiKim, which was new to me, and is better known in Europe.

MiKim (pronounced MY-Kim) is creamy and comfortable on the skin and comes in a wide array of vibrant colors and intense metallics. Some colors, like the reds and yellows, are available in both warm and cool tones.

While the containers of colors use a letter/numeral system (i.e. F7) for identification, online they are also listed by color names, which makes it easier to select the correct color for your use.

MiKim highlights:

• Easy to blend
• Vibrant colors
• Wide selection of colors, some offered in both cool and warm tones
• EEC and FDA compliant
• Comfortable on the skin after drying (not tight or dry feeling)
• Creams are quick to use for tiger and superhero masks
• Minimal smudging for most AQ colors after dry (although perspiration or excessive humidity will reactivate them)
• Metallics or color creams are more likely to smudge
• Good coverage for most colors, although yellow is a little sheer
• Excellent quality metallics with high luster and good opacity
• Durability for AQ colors is fair and is similar to glycerin-based paints rather than wax-based paints
