How to Face Paint Mexican Lucha Libre Wrestling Mask

Follow this step by step tutorial to learn how to face paint a Mexican Luca Libre wrestling mask design!

Tools:

Medium #4 Round Brush
Medium Filbert
High Density Hydra Foam Sponge

paper towels or cloth
water container
(optional) Spray bottle with water
(optional) Baby wipes

Colors used in this picture:

Tag Body Art Light Green
Wolfe Face Paints – Light Blue
Wolfe Face Paints Red

Application:

1.Starting with the green face paint, and the hydra sponge, cover the face with green. You’ll want to avoid the mouth, and eyes.

2. Next, using the filbert paint brush, and the light blue paint, outline the eyes, around the mouth, and over the nose. For this design, we choose to do blue flames around the eyes. You can do this by starting at the inner corner of the eye, and working your way up to about the middle of the forehead, coming to a point, then coming back down to about where the eyebrow is. Paint three points and the top then curve around to do a smaller flame of the side. Add two more flames on the bottom of the eye.

3. Finally, using the red face paint, and a #4 round brush, outline around the light blue. Don’t forget to outline around the eyes, and both the inner and outer blue around the mouth and nose. You are now ready for the rink!
