Easy One Stroke Flower Face Paint Design

Flowers never get old. The more different types of flowers you can paint, the more variety and more valuable your paintings will be as a service.

Tools:

Medium #4 Round Brush
Small Round #1 (1/16″) Brush
1″ Flat Brush or 3/4″ Brush.

Colors used in this picture:

Black Face Paint
White Face Paint
Diamond FX Face Paints – Metallic Green
Tag One Stoke Custom Split – Indian Spice
TAG Face Paints – Berry Wine
Paradise Purple
Wolfe Face Paints- Light Green

Application:

1. Starting with the flat brush, Place your brush upright on top of the skin. Push the brush up around then back to the starting point. You may want to practice this a few times.  Here is a blog article on how to use Rainbow Split Cakes and One Stokes   if you would like more in depth information.

2. Complete more petals rotating in a circle Don’t worry so much around messing up, you can move quickly as the leaves will fill in to even out.

3 Using the medium round brush, add the leaves in around the flower. Start at the middle of the flower then flick brush out to the tip of where you want your leaf. Repeat on each side.  Using the berry wine color, add a cluster of dots in the center of the flower. Add tiny tear drops over each leaf.

4. Add a series of swirls. Start with the metallic green and add a thick swirl to the top and bottom. Next, add a tough of light green.

5. Using the smaller round brush, add white details to the design. Add various expressive swirls around the flower. Add a series of tear drops between the leaves and vine. Add some white over the flower as well, and a few white dots in the center.

5. Outline the design in black. There is a simple and quick flower!
