3 Minute One Stroke Shooting Star Design

shooting star

A very simple and easy one stroke design that can be completed in under three minutes!
Ready set, go! Paint, Paint, Paint!

Tools:

Medium #4 Round Brush
1″ Flat Brush

Colors used in this picture:

Diamond FX Split Cake – Small Neon Nights
White Face Paint
Yellow Face Paint

Application:

1.Using the 1 inch flat brush and the rainbow one stoke split cake, Load the brush by adding a tiny bit of water, and working the brush back and forth over the paint, until the brush is fully loaded.  Start by holding the brush vertically, then twisting out then back to make it pointed at both ends.

2. Next, add a star at one end. Be careful and make sure the paint is fully dry, as you can see it blended into the yellow. No biggie! we can fix that. I like to use the 5 point star design because it is easy to make a star using this method.

3. Fill in the star with yellow. Next comes the fun part. Using white, outline the star, then add lots of tear drops and swirls outline the rainbow and coming in over the rainbow. Add a few dots in between to fill out, and that’s it!  Pretty cool!
